American Music Festivals promoted cultural exchange and preserves orchestral heritage through live concerts and new and lasting music.

Committed to artistic excellence and discovery, our collaborative events bring people together, allowing musicians to share their talents and cultural backgrounds with diverse audiences.  From the world's major stages to community events directed at education and engagement, our orchestral programs are presented in the spirit of goodwill.

American Music Festivals realizes its mission on three fronts: Chicago area concerts by the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra, in Honolulu with the initiative New Frontiers in Hawaiian Music, and through international programs of cultural exchange.  As a collaborative nonprofit we are flexible in approach, able to adapt to new environments and reaching out to communities and performers of various backgrounds.

American Music Festivals highlights repertoire and artists representative of the American musical experience alongside a variety of classical and folk traditions, placing music of different cultures in historical context.  We commission new works, embrace technology, participate in interdisciplinary and intergenerational programming, and engage in creative entrepreneurship to help sustain symphonic heritage, a gateway to all the humanities.

The relationships we build are lasting, and we invite you to join with us today.
